According to several psychology tests, only about 8% of high schools students get enough sleep on an average school night. The other 92 percent are dealing with borderline daytime drowsiness, headaches, and possibly depression due to their lack of sleep which could lead to a poor performance in their studies. On average, high school students naturally stay up later than everyone else in the household yet they go to school much earlier than elementary school children. If we have high school students start their school later, we will have a guaranteed overall higher performance from them.
