Have public schools teach Economics starting in First Grade

Created by T.M. on September 29, 2011

Every day we hear about somebody who has a dollar, spending a dollar-fifty. If we have every child being taught economics and world events early in their life, and continued throughout their life, it will have the future population have a better understanding of the market, gas prices, and real estate so we're not in the economic crisis we're in now.

Example: I am a sophomore in high school, and still have no idea how the real estate, gas, or market work. being sixteen, in two years I will be moving out with vague knowledge of economics, and very little capability of holding my own in the modern world. Make the change so nobody needs to end up homeless on the streets of Chicago.
