Have a referendum on firearms issues, assault rifle ban, magazine capacity s , etc at the next election

I feel that we the people should have the opportunity to vote on firearms issues as it appears our senators let us down,
I also think that this could be a great model for lots of issues to be voted on by us at elections
Lets face it the constitution was put in place to govern 4 million people today we have 315 million let the people speak
