have schools start later for middle school and high school.

Created by N.A. on January 27, 2013

Teen students need about 9 1/4 hours of sleep in order to be healthy and to function properly. Teens naturally stay up later because of a chemical in their brain. Most can't get to bed until about 11 pm because of that chemical. Often school times effect how much sleep the teens will get because of the starting times. So if schools start later students will be able to get the right amount of sleep they need.
