During a rally on August 9, 2016, Donald Trump warned those listening to him that "if Hillary Clinton is elected, nobody can stop her judicial picks." Then, as if it were an afterthought, he added, "Maybe 2nd amendment people can, I don't know."
When pressed, his campaign claimed that he was merely calling out to supporters of the 2nd amendment to vote for him, pretending that such an explanation matched the words he actually said.
His actual intent was clear: Donald Trump, as a candidate for President of the United States, was suggesting that gun owners either (1) assassinate Hillary Clinton, or (2) overthrow the government, if Hillary Clinton is elected.
We the people of the United States demand that Donald Trump be investigated for his statement and prosecuted for inciting violence.
