To be a Class I controlled substance, the substance in question must contain no medicinal qualities. Marijuana contains a vast amount of medicinal qualities. In accordance to the law, the Secretary of Health and Human Services may overturn the Attorney General on Classification of Controlled Substances. I ask that The Administration task the Secretary of HHS to review all research done in regards to marijuana, so that it may be completely removed from the controlled substance list.
Marijuana has no reason to be a controlled substance. It has many uses. End the prohibition of marijuana. Allow access of marijuana to: sick people for medicine; farmers for crops; adults for a healthier method to unwind then alcohol.
