Have the secretary of the treasury and the department to continue the paper savings bonds.

Created by D.O. on January 21, 2013

As of 2012, the US Department of the Treasury ended the paper savings bonds program. They have replaced it with "e-bond"on the treasury direct website; however, the internet is an unsafe place to put in one's social security online. Moreover, treasury direct website is very confusing to use, and how they is explain the end of the paper bond program is even more confusing. This petition is to have the secretary of the treasury re instate paper saving bonds; but it is not to abolish the "e-bond". The "e-bond" is great for those whom are internet savvy, and paper for the more conservative.
