Every day people are dealing with tripping over their own shoe laces, and bending over to tie them at the most inconvenient of places (escalators, crowds, etc). Some people prefer Merrells, so they won't have to deal with the number of times they tie their shoes, but others prefer shoes with tight laces for recreation or sports.
By having the shoes from the movie "Back to the Future Part 2", everyone won't have to worry about bending over to tie their shoes, or tripping over their own feet because of loose shoe laces. These self-lacing shoes can provide the amount of tightness adjusting to the person's shoe size.
Fans of the BTTF trilogy would pay good money to have the shoes for collection purposes, and will help get this poor economy back on its feet (no pun intended).
