In the movie, "Back to the Future Part 2" Marty McFly goes to the year 2015 in Doc Brown's time travelling Delorean. To blend in with the people of that time period, Marty wears the Nike Power laces.
If we had those self-lacing shoes by 2015, they'll be provocative in recreation, it'll draw in BTTF enthusiasts and movie fans in general for collecting purposes, and it'll give something to sell for this broken economy.
Michael J. Fox, who play Marty in the film, created an exact replica of the shoes to fund for Parkinson's Disease. If those shoes had the power laces to complete them, they'll be up to date with the movie.
