Have Senate Congress work part time (as they usually do);get paid for the time worked; eliminate health care, pensions

Senators and Congressmen were only meant to come to Washington to pass legislation. Then they were to go home and work at their jobs or businesses. Being in the Senate and Congress was not meant to be a full time job. They should only get paid for time spent in Washington for legislation; eliminate pensions, health care, perks, travel. Let them learn to live like other Americans live. They are overpaid, underworked and receive too many benefits. This is what the US Constitution stated originally. Let us go back and enact what the framers intended for the Congress and Senate.
