Hemp production in the United States is currently banned. As a crop with some relationship to Marijuana, the government has long placed it on the controlled substance list. Why should we not take advantage of the benefits? Food production, paper, and oil come to mind. We are so silly about hemp it's even prohibited for service members to eat yogurt with hemp seeds due to the trace amounts of THC. Let's move beyond our 20th century myopia in regards to Hemp.
