It would be nice if the State of Illinois start making mandatory by law to have all public schools teach children early in school a second language to be competitive like the Europeans who end up learning a second and even a third language. Learning and knowing a second language makes a student smart by developing their mind and exercising their brain to be able to memorize much faster. Also, the students will be much more indispensable later when they find jobs. Illinois students will be much more smarter than the other students of the 50 US States.
