have stricter laws on homeschooling to prevent cases of child abuse, torture, murder, lack of proper education and more.

Created by L.C. on December 19, 2012

Homeschooling can be a wonderful thing if done properly, but every year there are hundreds of parents who use it as a way to abuse their children. Every year, there are hundreds of cases of children murders, locked in cages, beaten senselessly, all of which were 'homeschooled' to be kept out of the public eye so no one could help them.

As of right now, most states don't require any proof that parent's are properly educating their kid. Even those that do rarely require a visit to the home. Teachers check up on homeschoolers once a year via Skype while their parents sit in the background. Some states don't even require that.

To prevent the death of others,a teacher should come to the home once a year, view the child's portfolio, talk to the child one on one, and make sure nothing is wrong
