On June 25, 2013, the Texas Legislature tried to pass a law effectively banning abortion in the state. When Wendy Davis filibustered against the law, the Republicans that supported the bill illegally attempted to stop her filibuster. What's more, at midnight the session was supposed to end, but they took a vote to pass the law AFTER midnight. In front of protesters at the Capitol, AND in front of over 100,000 people viewing the livestream. They illegally passed the law, ignoring the demands of the people, and then had protestors arrested, as seen in this tweet :https://twitter.com/RepMaryGonzalez/status/349756770123665408. We the people demand that these tyrants be brought to justice for attempting to establish a dictatorship contrary to the will of the people of Texas, and of the USA.
