Have Topix banned for slander and should not be allowed to post a topic. This site should be only used for reading news.

I am creating a petition to have Topix banned for slander. Topix should ONLY be used for local news in your area and not a gossip column. There are a lot of people that are talked about on Topix no matter if it's true or not. This site was intended for use of finding local news about events in your area just like reading a newspaper. I want this site to banned people from commenting or creating a thread, no matter what the subject is. We the people should not have to worry about being talked about on the internet. As the saying goes "Once it's in the internet, it's on there forever" I want this to change for the site of Topix. Please consider my petition and sign it.
