HAVE A TOWN HALL MEETING ON REPARATIONS FOR AFRICAN AMERICANS.

Created by G.F. on January 19, 2016

African Americans have been the target of economic warfare ever since they were brought to this country. Whether through slavery, lynchings, terrorism from the klan or other groups, the burning of black towns and settlements like Greenwood, Oklahoma, Rosewood, Florida, Slokum Texas, amongst others, anti social experimentation, separate but unequal, real estate redlining, drugs for guns schemes, and mass incarcerations due to a slanted justice system. This is the legacy of the long lasting war this society has waged. The war to keep African Americans as second hand citizens. The poverty, high unemployment, and even lower life expectancy can be attributed to these evils of systematic oppression. President Obama was elected on a platform of change. Reparations can make that change.
