Free trade increases corporate profits and CEO salaries but median incomes have not risen. In 1995 there were 17 million manufacturing jobs in America and that is down to 12 million today. Trade deals help corporations grow but do not raise the wages for middle class Americans nor will the TPP create jobs. The TPP not only won't be able to fix the problems of unemployment, wage stagnation, and income inequality, it will cause them to get worse.
