The cost of postage keeps going up, post offices are being closed and mail deliverers are being laid off.
Historically, the postal service only allowed deceased persons to be placed on postage stamps. That changed last year, but this still is not much of a revenue generator.
The postal service should forego this concept altogether and start allowing businesses to advertise on stamps. This could be a source to generate revenue in two ways: 1. charging companies to advertise and 2. charging the customer as usual.
This would create jobs, help the economy, reduce the cost of postage and generate revenue.
"If you keep doing the same thing over and keep getting the same results, you need to change your strategy."
