to have the Veterans Administration and Department of Defense to help all Vietnam War Veterans get treatment for PTSD.

Created by M.T. on January 22, 2014

There are veterans in America that suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (P.T.S.D.) and were discharged less than honorable for problems related to their P.T.S.D. The department of defense has not recognized their service connected disability and they are suffering. This petition is to have President Obama sign an executive order to allow these veterans to get the help they deserve and to have the V.A. and D.O.D. recognize that they suffered from P.T.S.D. before the disease was discovered. This also asks the President to ensure that veterans that suffered less than honorable discharges due to mental health issues from P.T.S.D. and other misunderstood mental health issues from that era be fast tracked to have their discharge status upgraded to honorable.
