Have worse punishments for people who drive under the influence. It is attempted murder/ manslaughter.

So many innocent people die because so many selfish people feel it is okay to drive while under the influence. Everybody either knows someone or will know somebody who will die as a result of this foolish act. If the punishment for driving under the influence becomes more harsh, people will be less likely to do it. Just stop this before somebody in your family is forced to deal with the loss of a loved one based upon someone else's carelessness.
