Summary: This petition is to change healthcare from being an issue controlled and paid for by the states to an issue controlled and paid for by the Federal government.
Petition: In accepting the fact that access to proper health care is an inalienable human right, we realize that governments must assist their citizens with certain elements of health care. We applaud the Obama Administration for their efforts in passing the Affordable Care Act but we also realize that this act does not go far enough to advocate for patients and their health care needs. The Affordable Care Act allows each individual state to determine the level of care they wish to provide for their citizens, we would like this responsibility to got to the Federal Government.
