Healing America by Promoting Intelligent Economics (HAPIE), is a proposal that will increase credit scores immediately upon completion of two college courses. Debt Management and Investment I, will educate the middle class, and economically disadvantage on ways to better manage their debt and invest in stock, CDs, etc, to improve the economy and reduce the deficit. After successfully completing the Debt Management class a person with a credit score of 400 would gain 100 pts making their credit score a 500. After completing the Investment I class, that person would gain another 100 pts, making their score a 600. This would allow that person to make needed purchases, or consolidate debt at a lower interest rate. As people spend money, jobs are created to handle the demand for goods.
