Just because you get older and have a life lasting disability and need more assistance as you get older your healthcare shouldn’t deny you of those things just because of your age. Traditional Medicaid is the only Medicaid that will help you get anything needed for your disability, but all that changes when you turn 18 years old. Once you turn 18 they change it to like a different Medicaid plan than limits to what you can and can’t receive. Necessities for someone who is disabled can get pretty expensive from Wheelchairs, Car lifts, Electric Scooters, to bathroom equipment, and etc. And not everyone can afford that with having to pay bills and live. So I petition that the status of a disabled persons Medicaid status shouldn’t change just because of their age! So please sign!
