The Healthy Schools Learning Plan, is a project that would include all public schools and all school age groups.

Created by M.T. on September 26, 2011

The HSLP is a community gardening effort, that will not only provide organic healthy foods for the students. But provide fresh produce to the food pantries around the country.
This plan will also teach students hands on healthy choices, and how to create and produce a non profit business for the community. Children from grade k4 through the 12th, will aide in the total functionality of the plan. Ranging from planting to sales ( that will provide money to the schools for extra curricular activities). The plan is to teach a life skill that can and will help others. There plan allows for each student to gain school credits and be graded on progress. The only thing they need to do is participate and learn. This plan can be extended to empty businesses and rooftops.
