America is threatened today by religious zealots hell bent on ripping up your constitution and destroying the planet. They are a major stumbling block to America finally taking action to address the climate crisis, overpopulation and species extinction. They can not be negotiated with, as this incident with the shutdown has shown, therefore it is my belief they must be shut out of the political process. I do not endorse everything in Brave New World, but I am a Promethan. I believe science should be unrestrained. Genetic engineering, nuclear energy and more effective birth control, anything that gives us power over our own bodies and our environment, while still striving to maintain an equilibrium with nature. I am not speaking on behalf of any orgainsation, these views are my own.
