Hearing for Supreme Court nominee

Created by J.M. on August 13, 2016

The Senate needs to hold hearings on President Obama's nominee for the vacancy at the Supreme Court. The Court cannot effectively function in it's current state. Furthermore, the Senate is not performing its constitutional duties by refusing to hold hearings for the nominee. Nothing in the Constitution gives the Senate leadership the right to refuse to consider a nominee.
