Hello, WV needs to have ASL classes in public schools as foreigh langauge and is wonderful for students to learn.

Created by S.H. on January 26, 2013

I want to support ASL classes as foreign language in public schools and private schools. West Virginia has very shortage of interpreter service. Some deaf students are too smart not to attend West Virginia School for deaf, they need to have good certificate interpreter in public schools in their home area. Most of students are so interested to taking ASL classes in their public schools. Board won't allow me to teach ASL classes. I have a master degree in deaf ed and have many years of teachin ASL experiences in college level and communities. Please, help to establish system of certificate of teaching ASL, so I can teach my heaiing students. Please support and make wake up with West Virginia those are most hard brain not to be willing to work together in this country. Thank you
