John Boehner is refusing to bring the renewal of Emergency Unemployment up for a vote in the house. Americans have a right to have their voices heard. This is an issue that is affecting 3,000,000 Americans. Americans who are increasing struggling to pay rent, mortgages, feed their children, pay utility bills. We are not asking for a hand out but a hand up. Every demand Boehner placed on the Bill has been met and now he even refuses to let it be brought for a vote. We need a discharge petition to go around the Speaker of the House, who clearly has his and his political parties interests above those of suffering, desperate, Americans. According to an aid I spoke to in his office today he does not support this bill and will not even consider bringing it up for a vote.
