help amend Constitution, to abolish gerrymandering to elect H.R. representatives. or allocate Electoral College votes.

Created by S.M. on January 21, 2013

The Constitution has a flaw that permits gerrymandering, which allowed Republicans to send more Reps. to the 2013 House of Reps than did Democrats, even though the Dem. candidates received more votes. This tactic clearly defies the Constitutional premise that we are all created equal under the law. If my vote counts less than a Republican's, there's no equality. This Constitutional flaw must be corrected before Republicans use the same tactic to change allocation of votes in the Electoral College! If someone like Romney is elected President in the future when his Democratic opponent beat him by five million votes, if such a travesty occurs, our faith in a democratic U.S. will be destroyed, extremist policies will erode our rights, and anarchy will prevail. Act now to end this travesty!
