help for america and each and every state

why cant we tax the products bought online?
the suggestion i have is the state linked to the credit card or paypal bank account get the tax money from that product. imagine the billions of unpaid tax monies people are not paying because they buy a product online (amazon,overstocked.com,ebay) if they charged taxes for each state then they sent a check for that tax money to each state at the end of the year . the tax money would help each state operate and schools operate and help communities.the money would be in the million and help each state create jobs and pay for funding public schooling.if web sites dont comply than block them from selling to people in usa.other countries block sites in there country so why cant we . seems extreme but helping America is what we need most.this to me
