Mr. President we need your help to find a way to get more bipartisanship from Congress. The 112th did less than the historic "Do-Nothing-Congress", each side uses tricks to prevent the other side from garnering any achievement that could be seen as political good news. There are no signs the next Congress will be any better. When comparing days actually worked to successful legislation, it is obvious that the American people are not getting value for the money they are spending. Our members spend more and more time fundraising and courting lobbyists than honoring the oath they take to their constituency. At its worse, while cooperation is being demanded, one side went home leaving the American people swinging in the wind of a potential fiscal storm that Congress itself created.
