Its time your administration takes a stand against the powers that control mortgage interest rates, they are rising rapidly.
The interest rate for a 30 year mortgage saw its largest single month jump in 26 years this past 30 days. The low (reasonable) interest of 3.35% that has been the norm for the past 2 1/2 years has fueled the economy to a level where we are finally recovering. Houses are being built, creating jobs. Middle class Americans are finally able to own a home. Rates are now a full 1% higher, and climbing. This translates to thousands of dollars in interest over the life of a mortgage. This rise will hurt the steadily recovering economy. It only took one housing crisis to thrust us into this in the first place. Demand the fed make statements to calm investors.
