This petition is being suggested as a way to stop wasting everyone's time with nonsensical movements from people who shouldn't be taken seriously or given consideration by legitimate media. The idea that finding 20,000 lunatics in an era of mass communication somehow legitimizes silliness is dreadfully idealistic; if 1% of a population is insane and or mentally disabled, there are over 3 million lunatics ripe for exploitation...and getting 1% of the lunatic fringe to sign a petition doesn't seem very relevant.
By signing this petition you agree that most petitions are silly (including this petition) and that many people shouldn't have opinions about complicated issues or such easy access to the market place of ideas.
