We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Help celebrate the National Parks Service's 100th Birthday

Created by J.S. on May 16, 2016

With today's world being so consumed with technology, let's celebrate the National Parks Service 100th Birthday by putting all of our electronics down and going outside and being active. I am calling on Congress and the President to officially declare August 25th as National Parks and Recreation Day! People are encouraged to go outside and spend time with their friends and family, being active by visiting a local, state, or national park. This will also bring awareness to preserving our parks as well as the wildlife that lives among them. We will be preserving history and allow families to create memories that will last a lifetime.
