Non violent Felons should be granted equal rights after completion of the court appointed sentence. Why should all felonies be punished the same in society when the judicial system clearly sees each felony different, hence the classes of felonies. Grant felons the basic right to work without persecution after said punishment/rehabilitation term deemed by the court. Allow lower class felons the right to live freely without bias from landlords. Allow felons to exit the penal system without fear of becoming a burden to society. Put guidelines in place for a second chance at the American dream. The word felony is a discriminatory word and should not catogorize a group without just cause. Felons deserve the right for Americas help at reform not permanent persecution.
