Help child refugees at the U.S. Border: Allow Americans to voluntarily care for them in their own homes at little cost.

With an estimated 57,000 or more children fleeing extreme violence in their home countries comes the great responsibility of deciding what to do with them. I propose that the White House both ask and allow our fellow Americans to voluntarily take these children into their homes.
As it stands, there is also a petition on Change.org entitled “Petitioning President Barack Obama - Proposal to Help Child Refugees Fleeing Extreme Violence: Border Crisis”, which has a list of signatures that is growing by the hour. We implore you to allow volunteers to step up to the plate, so that we may get these children into safe and loving homes as quickly as possible. Our hope is that we can make a difference in the lives of suffering children as well as saving taxpayer money. -Please consider it.
