Help chronic pain patients get SSDI in a timely manner.

Created by N.E. on April 21, 2016

As the government is making it harder for chronic pain patients to continue receiving their medications, there needs to be a faster way of helping these patients get disability benefits so that there is help with their continued medical needs, as well as daily living expenses. As of now you must be unemployed in order to file and have any chance at approval. This leaves patients unable to afford medical care, housing, food, gas, etc. This is unacceptable and needs to be changed immediately. No American who has worked and paid into Social Security should be denied benefits they desperately need. We must have an expedited process for proven, long term, chronic pain patients who have the support of their physicians . We cannot accept this process taking five or six years to get approved.
