Gary the Pig is a plush animal character dedicated to making history more accessible and enjoyable to children through his travels around the country with his "human", Miss Lisa. He gets his picture taken at various historic sites around the country and tells her students about it.
Gary loves to learn about the Presidents and has been to dozens of Presidential sites across the country. He has seen President Obama four times and was even pretty close a couple times. He toured the White House in 2011. However, he has never met a President and he would love to meet President Obama one day. Gary thinks it would make future Presidents' Day Lessons even better and be a great addition to his book "Gary's Presidential Adventures"!
