Women's organizations say the inequality between men and women's pay and opportunities is wider than ever. A previous estimate salary gap of .79 on the dollar may be low today.
CBS claims women pay $1,300 more for similar products than men. Many services and repair people charge more also.
Single working mothers, widows and divorcees all struggle in our society to keep themselves and a place to live in "a man's world".
A temporary solution would be Federal Tax Credits for women. We can not make up for generations of inequality to women but we can start now to fill the gap.
