Help community colleges create accelerated nursing degree programs to train 4 year degree holders that are not employed.

Created by N.L. on October 27, 2011

There are a lot of young people with four year degrees who cannot find work. With the shortage of nurses, help colleges create accelerated nursing degree programs that will train these young people so they can get into the workforce in as little as 12 months. Offer scholarships, grants or loans to help the students pay for the program.
Such an initiative will also help degree holders who are under employed and are looking for a way out. I am one of them and I tell you there is a lot of frustration among college graduates who have been turned down from traditional Nursing degree programs. Only a handfull of schools already offer these programs right now.
Get Community colleges and 2 year state colleges involved so we can get trained, hired and experience the American dream.
Thank you
