The Automobile - In the early 20th Century it changed the way we lived life as Americans, and as humans throughout much of the globe. The Automobile has recently again had a similar impact. The Automobile formerly served at the Saloon at Dead Rabbit Grocery & Grog in New York changed the way we view cocktails, and forever changed the palate of anyone so fortunate as to have tasted its majesty. It is the sublime creation of Jack McGarry, and any attempted description would be insufficient. Its ingredients are (were) Marie Brizard Parfait Amour, Pernod Absinthe, celery cordial, Piper Heidsieck Cuvee Brut Champagne and Bittermens Orchard Street Celery Shrub. Sadly, the DR no longer makes its in-house celery cordial, and thus the drink is no more. Please Jack, I beg you, bring it back. :)
