The USCIS (Department of Immigration) has a program commonly known as EB-5 which encourages foreign investment into the United States with the specific purpose of creating American jobs. The USCIS has a target time of 4 months to approve applications for the formation of these job-creating vehicles. Yet the USCIS is dragging its feet caught up in bureaucratic red-tape. With American jobs at stake and in a tough recovery, the USCIS has more than doubled its processing time of the I-924. This does not even take into account the other end of the forms, the I-526 which takes another 9 months. An economic analysis found that nearly 1,000 American jobs could be created if the local regional center I formed was allowed to proceed. This is my grass-roots effort. Help urge the President into action
