With all of the cuts being discussed maybe we should begin cutting wages for ineffective public servents. If the congress is not able to pass a balanced budget they should not be payed as they are not doing their jobs.
Also stop paying pensions for all past public servents including past presidents and past congress members, instead allow them to invest in retirement plans and pay money into social secureity like everyone else in America. Provide all members of congress healthcare through Medicare instead of the current model so they will get to experience the changes they wish to implement.
Help all goverment officials understand that they are there to serve the public not become wealthy.
