We the disabled need help in getting affordable mortgages. We live on a small budget and most of it goes to rent and medical bills. Yet getting a mortgage is nearly impossible. Rent tends to be higher than your average mortgage payments and it is only logical and more beneficial for people who are disabled to live comfortably in their own homes where they can afford to. Many foreclosures are cheap enough that low income disabled families can afford them. As well as injured veterans who come back from war and cannot find work due to their disabilities.
