Help draft and support legislation to limit the number of terms for members of Congress to one term only.

This petition is designed to encourage the Obama Administration to help draft and support legislation that will limit the number of terms that an individual can serve in the Senate or House of Representatives to one only. This will eliminate career and crony politicians from the debate and will focus members of Congress on the issues, rather than on a constant and tiring re-election cycle. Additionally, it will encourage those who truly wish to serve the American People and not themselves to work for the People to run for Congress. In correlation with limiting terms, we would ask the Obama Administration to draft and support legislation creating more stringent campaign finance laws to deter the greedy and corrupt from entering into public service.
