The United States has always been a world leader in the sense of bringing rational thinking to difficult and complex situations. In recent years, the U.S. has taken the lead on countering terrorist actions abroad. This task while justified is a burden to heavy for the U.S. to carry alone. Leading such a world operation pins the bull’s-eye for hate directly to our homeland. The world needs a permanent solution for the war on terror: a “World Alliance Against Terror”. If the U.S. could help create this new “NATO” like alliance it could take a member seat in the organization eliminating the U.S. from the forefront on decision-making. We need a foundation for world leaders to address terrorism and actions against such groups in a united manner.
