In my home state of Virginia, there has been too many teen suicides. In 2011, the suicide rate 12.6 suicides per 100,000 residents. There was a total of 1,067 suicides. A couple years ago, my friend committed suicide because of ongoing bullying in his school. The principal has been told about the bullying before he committed suicide. Then last month January 2014, a girl committed suicide because of the same reason. I've been bullied to the point where I almost took my own life. The kids in our country are our future. I'm asking you all, to help end the bullying, and stop the teen suicide.
