In 2004 my son was killed by 2 teens who repeatedly stomped and kicked Cody in the head. They both had prior arrests and issues involving violence. But yet they were tried as juveniles even though my son died as a result of their actions. I would like this petition to be known as Cody Michael's Law. It is a petition to make it a law that if a teen has prior arrests involving violence and they were convicted of that crime they be tried as an adult should an act of violence on their part kill someone. Something must be done to hold teens accountable for their actions besides a slap on the wrist.
