We are waiting for the Veterans Affairs Office in Philadelphia to complete our processing for the Pension for James. There is no status on anything since Feb.,2012. Why so long to process this claim? My husband is dying from stage four cancer and he will be dead by the time your Veterans' office process his pension, his Doctor records prove his claim? NO one is trying to help us no matter where we go. We are living on just over $800/ Month and this is not easy. We are trying to respect the system, but the system is disrespecting the Veterans. Why do we need Government workers to come to work and do no work. why do we need all the red tape to hinder the process? A simple form, DD-214, something that you can't ignore. Why spend the last few weeks of his life Waiting on Government?
