Help Families Eat Healthier While Saving Them Money

Created by C.B. on March 27, 2013

There is a need to reform the way our society eats. One way to respond to this need is by mandating that at least one individual from each house hold that is receiving assistance from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) (formally known as food stamps) attend classes to learn how to cook and prepare healthy and wholesome meals for their families. This will keep families healthier and save them money as they can buy ingredients for meals rather than frozen or pre-made foods. Funding for this program will come from funds diverted from the SNAP program.
